Dog Breed: Retriever / Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Beau is an 1-year-old male Retriever/Border Collie mix who must be neutered before adoption. He is an owner turn in because his owner could no longer take care of him. Beau is a gorgeous fellow--his coat is red with white markings. He does have a docked tail; and he weighs 63 pounds. Beau's coat is so shiny and pretty. He is calm but shy at first. As you can see in some of his pictures, he likes to be close to you and he is super sweet. Beau would be good with children; and he is good with other dogs. This handsome boy will need a patient owner because it takes a little encouragement to build his confidence that you are his friend. Once you earn Beau's trust--he is a "velcro" friend who will be close to you! Beau is such a great young dog with the potential to be an awesome addition to any family. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
