At just 6 months old, Clover has already been through more than any puppy ever should. This sweet, innocent baby was surrendered to the ACC of NYC by his family with a severely injured leg. The exact details of what happened to this poor boy remain unknown, but the trauma was so significant that his leg ultimately had to be amputated. Despite everything he’s endured—pain, confusion, and heartbreak—Clover’s spirit has remained beautifully intact. From the moment we saw a photo of him, we knew this special boy deserved a second chance at the happy life every puppy should have. Clover is happy, friendly, wiggly, and full of so much love. His tail is almost always wagging and his bright personality shines through in everything he does. He greets the world with joy, curiosity, and the kind of resilience that only the most special dogs seem to have. When he makes a new friend, he'll jump up as if to hug them. Yes, Clover has only three legs—but don’t tell him that’s supposed to slow him down! He’s determined to live life to the fullest and won’t let anything hold him back in his quest for happiness. He is so inspiring, it's hard not to immediately fall in love with him.
