Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed. Definitely a herding dog, Blu, a 2-year-old, 26-pound Blue Heeler(also known as an Aussie Cattle Dog) is also a real sweetie. True to her breed, you might see her prodding another dog along, or even a human! That is what she was born to do. She's high energy, loves to run and jump, is treat-motivated and dog friendly (once she has a bit of time to warm up, that is). A delightful girl, she loves having a job! (posted 3/13/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
