Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Nova went on a Shelter Paws! Please list all of the behaviors your doggo knows! Sit, lay down, gentle eating, good walker Where did you adventure to today? Tell us the story! We took Nova to pet smart where she picked out many treats. She loves treats, not so many toys. She was very friendly and wanted to say hi so everyone. We went into Ross and she enjoyed walking around and smelling treats. She is very well behaved and quiet. She doesn't bark or bite and is good around kids. We also went to Black Rifle Company for a pup cup. She loved it and ate all of it. She found a couple and said hi to them and took a little nap. The We went to a park for a little hike. She does not pull hard and listens very well. She also enjoyed lots of treats today. During car rides, we had no issues. She is very quiet and laid down the entire ride. How did your doggo walk on leash? Pretty good - almost perfect. What is the best thing about your Shelter Paws doggo? Nova is super sweet and kind. She is very excited and friendly. She loves treats. What is something your Shelter Paws doggo could work on? She needs a little work on not pulling on walks but she is overall very well behaved

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
