Description
Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Be sure to watch his video! Russell is a 2yo male Jack Russell Terrier mix being surrendered by his owner in TN because he’s too active for her young children. Well-socialized, friendly, loving. A little shy at first but warms up quickly. Medium-high activity level; needs daily activity but knows how to lie around inside. Loves toys, balls, sticks and chasing things. Dislikes being left alone for long periods. LOVES kids and is tolerant of toddler antics but when he’s playing he jumps and grabs toys roughly, resulting in kids being knocked over and now they’re scared of him. No guarding issues, he shares all items willingly with us and the kids. Good with other dogs. Not recommended for cats because he has a high prey drive with small animals. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 28 pounds. AWESOME young JRT mix will make a wonderful companion for an active family who loves the breed.
