Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Dog Sheepdog / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Teanna is a happy, fun, and energetic bundle of love! She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and always aims to please. Teanna enjoys being outdoors, playing with her toys, spending time with her doggy friends, and she can also entertain herself when needed. She will require a home with a yard where she can thrive & would likely love having another furry sibling to play and share life with. Teanna is the perfect companion for a family—she’s very loving, enjoys cuddling, and even gives kisses on command! She’s currently learning basic commands like come, sit, down, off, and leave it, and she’s capable of learning so much more. About Teanna: 75% crate trained, currently, working on potty training, needs leash training, great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Smart, affectionate, and playful. Teanna is ready to find her forever home where she can continue learning, playing, and giving lots of love. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Teanna might be the perfect match! She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and 2 fecal tests. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
