Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Terrier / Mixed. Jaws is approximately 3 months old. The little dude has no fear. He's rough and tumble and likes to check everything out. He currently resides with 3 adult dogs. He can be relentless when he plays, so he's hoping for a fur sibling that is patient and will teach him the ropes. He is neutered, but only has 2 of his 3 puppy vaccainations. For this reason, he will need a family that has a private yard. Unfortunately at this time, he can not live in an apartment, townhome, etc. Jaws really loves being outside, sniffing, exploring and enjoying the sunshine. Jaws is working on potty training. He does really well in his crate. He would do best in a home with older or no children. He is mouthy and needs a family who will be patient with him, as he's still learning. He is a very happy puppy and he can't wait to meet his furever family.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
