Dog Breed: Husky / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). If you've ever wanted a dog with movie-star looks and the personality of your favorite easygoing buddy, Zazu is ready for his close-up. This handsome 5-year-old Husky sports a pair of eyebrows that should honestly have their own Instagram account and a piercing stare that can convince you to hand over snacks from across the room. Fortunately for Zazu, he's also incredibly charming. At adoption events, Zazu can come across as a little over-the-top. There are people to meet, dogs to greet, smells to investigate, and excitement everywhere! But don't let his event-day enthusiasm fool you. At home, Zazu is a surprisingly laid-back guy who is perfectly content to relax after a nice walk and spend the rest of the day lounging near his people. Zazu is good with dogs, kids, and adults. He's crate trained, leash trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has excellent house manners. He's affectionate without being clingy, intelligent without being complicated, and eager to please—especially when treats are involved. And speaking of treats... Zazu is not just food motivated. Zazu is professionally food motivated. Training him is easy because he firmly believes snacks are the answer to every question. Sit? Snack. Down? Snack. Learn a new trick? Definitely snack. His greatest weakness? Pup cups. Zazu loves pup cups with the passion of a thousand suns.
