Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff (short coat). Nala is about 2 years old and we believe she may be a Cane Corso mix. She’s the perfect mix of strong and sweet — a big cuddle bug who absolutely loves to snuggle with her people. Spayed Up to date on vaccines (including rabies) Microchipped Great with people and loves affection She has done pretty well with cats, though slow introductions are always best. She hasn’t been around many other dogs yet, so proper introductions would be important there as well. Nala would thrive in a loving home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, soak up the sunshine, and then come inside to curl up next to her humans. She truly just wants a family to love. This sweet girl has so much love to give — she just needs someone willing to give her a chance. ❤️ ✨ Available for adoption now!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
