Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or forever home wanted, meet Blackberry. Hesperia is one of the few shelters that will proactively reach out to rescue organizations to ask for help for a dog who has run out of time. Being a smaller shelter with little to no foot traffic and a rural shelter, dogs don' t get much time. We always look at that as them really trying to help a really good dog get a second chance. Blackberry was one of three they asked us to help. They didn't come in together, but all are really young in the one year to one-and-a-half-year range. Blackberry is super friendly. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is quite a handsome boy so we are happy to welcome him to the Labradors and Friends family. We don't know too much about Blackberry since he is very new to the rescue, so we will update his bio as we learn more.
