Meet Brisket Fresh off the grill and ready to steal your heart… meet Brisket, a 2 year old neutered chocolate lab weighing in at a solid 77 pounds of pure, lovable goodness. This chocolatey boy is packed with flavor, personality, and just the right amount of goofy charm. Brisket is a medium energy guy who’s always down for some fun but also knows how to chill. He’s decent on leash, great in his kennel, and knows some basic obedience. He’s treat motivated, which means training with him is basically a recipe for success… just add snacks and watch him shine. This sweet boy loves people, enjoys making dog friends, and has the kind of easygoing, well mannered personality that makes him a joy to be around. He’s eager to please, happy to learn, and always ready to serve up smiles. Brisket arrived as an unclaimed stray, but he’s ready to leave that part of his story behind and move on to a life where he’s the main course in someone’s heart. He dreams of a loving home, plenty of snacks, and a cozy spot to relax after a day of being your loyal sidekick. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
