Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Meet Shaggy Maggie Shaggy Maggie is a sweet, mellow 2-year-old 30 lb terrier mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will gently win you over. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds—once she trusts you, she’ll rub up against you like a cat, asking for affection in the most adorable way. This lovely girl is housebroken and crate trained, making her an easy addition to your home. She gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs, and she has a playful side too—especially when squeaky toys are involved! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
