She came in with her longtime companion, Tex, after an unfortunate change in their family life left them needing a new home.Brownie is a sweet, expressive, and very talkative girl who isnât shy about sharing her thoughtsâyou might even suspect thereâs a smidge of hound dog mixed in with her Ridgeback roots! Sheâs been by Texâs side her whole life, and the two have been a source of comfort for one another during this big transition.While Brownie and Tex do not have to be adopted together, they would truly prefer it, as theyâve only ever known life side by side. Brownie would do best in a loving home that appreciates her personality, her voice, and her loyal heartâwhether thatâs with Tex or on her own with a family ready to adore her.
