Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $250.00. Meet Sittka, a 75lb female silver lab/pit X. She is a happy, playful and affectionate girl who will greet you with tail wags and a big smile. She's trusting and bonds with her people quickly and a cuddly girl who loves getting hugs. Sittka is fully house trained and doggy door proficient. She has a rough and tumble play style while outdoors but knows how to settle down and is calm and docile while indoors. She is crate trained but can be trusted in the home alone for periods of time. She sleeps in her crate, is good on car rides, knows commands such as sit, stay, come, shake and "get in" (referring to her crate). She's a strong girl and does tend to pull on leash so training with that is a must. She does best on leash when a gentle-leader type nose band is used. Sittka will need a home with a fenced yard. She has met children 7 years and older and did great with them. She tolerates cats and gets along with dogs with careful introductions. Slow introductions are important as she can be slightly reactive to other dogs. She lived with another dog previously and they were friends. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
