Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Hi, I’m Wobble! I’m a 1 year old, 38 pound pitbull mix… maybe with a little corgi in me (have you seen my short legs?!). I may be low to the ground, but I’ve got a BIG heart and an even bigger smile I spent most of my life in a cage, so I’m still learning that the world isn’t so scary. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give me a few seconds and I’ll warm right up I promise I’m worth it! I absolutely LOVE other dogs big or small, I don’t care! I would really love a dog sibling to play with. I’m always wagging my tail, ready to play, and just happy to be included. I’m also a big fan of adventures car rides, walks, exploring… I’m your guy! But don’t worry, I don’t have endless energy. Once I’m tired (which doesn’t take too long ), I turn into a total cuddle bug. Belly rubs? YES PLEASE!!! I’m crate trained and potty trained with a doggy door, so I already have some great house manners. One thing though I am a bit of an escape artist, so I’ll need a secure yard (no chain link fences… I can climb those!). All I really want is a loving home, a comfy place to nap, and a furry best friend to play with. Could that be with you? Apply to meet me at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
