Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Hi! I’m Lilac, a young Malinois with the heart of a cuddlebug and the imagination of an alligatorkangaroo hybrid. I adore humans and happily accept every bit of love you’re willing to give. I enjoy playing with other dogs and I’m still learning about boundaries — I’m young, eager, and trying my best. I’m fascinated by cats, too. My current ones run away, but I’d love a home with confident cats who might actually want to play with me. The outdoors is my playground. Bunnies are thrilling, squirrels are magical treeclimbers, and every walk is an adventure. I’m practicing not pulling on the leash, but there’s just so much to explore. I love going on long walks and hikes with my person! I love toys, tossing treats in the air, and doing my happy “mouth snaps” when I’m excited. I also love cozy spots — beds, couches, rugs, you name it. If it’s soft, I’m happy. I do get anxious when my humans leave but I do settle down in my crate after a few minutes. The TV helps, but mostly I just want to be someone’s shadow and feel close to my people. And yes… beware the zoomies. When they hit, I’m a blur of joy. But take me to the dog park and I do a great job focusing on those crazy A frames - so fun! I’m a sweet, loving pup looking for a family to adore. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
