Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler / Mixed. *Name: Ryder *Age: DOB 2/11/26 *Current Weight: 7lbs & growing! *Rescued from: Georgia *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Ryder, one of Lucy's Pups! Mama Lucy’s story is one we wish we didn’t hear so often... Found wandering the streets of rural Georgia, this gentle black beauty was not only alone, but pregnant and about to pop. She landed in an overcrowded shelter, where her life and the lives of her unborn babies were at risk. Thankfully, one of our trusted rescue partners stepped in to save her and helped her make the long journey up to New York just in time to safely welcome her six precious puppies into the world—all from the comfort of a loving foster home. Now, Lucy’s pups are thriving. With full bellies, wagging tails, and lots of love, these pups are growing every day into happy, healthy, playful little ones who are almost ready to find their forever families. Lucy's Pups will be available for adoption starting April 11. Ryder and his littermates are expected to be large dogs when fully grown with big futures ahead of them! Their ideal homes will be ready for all the joys (and challenges!) of raising a large-breed puppy—think training, socialization, exercise, and plenty of patience as they learn and grow. In return? A lifetime of loyalty, love, and unforgettable moments. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Ryder, you’ll be giving him the happy ending his story truly deserves. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
