Description
Dog Breed: Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Rosie is a super sweet loving little girl. She loves to snuggle and would love if she could sleep in your bed. She is good in her kennel when left alone. She is still working on her house skills. She will go to the door when she wants to go out but does need to be let out soon after going to the door. She loves toys, walks and playing with other dogs. She has only met a cat once and was very curious. She does a happy dance before sitting down when it is time to eat. Rosie gets excited when she sees people on her walk and tries to make friends everywhere. She has met kids (over 8) and is working on not jumping when meeting new people.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Golden Labrador, a delightful hybrid often referred to as a Goldador, is a popular cross between the Golden Retriever and the Labrador Retriever. Originating from designer breeding programs, these intelligent dogs inherit the best traits from both beloved parent breeds. Physically, they are medium to large-sized with a muscular build, typically sporting a dense, water-repellent coat in shades of gold, yellow, or cream. Their temperament is exceptionally friendly, loyal, and eager to please, making them outstanding family pets that get along well with children and other animals. While adaptable, their energy levels necessitate regular exercise, making a house with a yard preferable over strict apartment living. Though generally healthy, potential health considerations include hip and elbow dysplasia, common in both parent breeds, and certain eye conditions. Overall, the Golden Labrador offers a wonderful blend of intelligence, affection, and trainability, making them a fantastic companion for active families.
