Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Name: Angel Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 8 months old (as of 3/22) Best Guess for Breed: Terrier Mix Weight: About 30 lbs (as of 3/22) Lives With: Dogs, cats, kids and all people! Housebroken? She’s potty trained and crate trained! Story: Angel was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Angel is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Angel is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Angel will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Angel is an incredibly sweet pup looking for her forever home. She loves humans and dogs, and has lived with dogs and cats. She does well with kids too. Angel would much rather you cuddle with her on the couch than go into the office. Her ideal would be a home where she can be around her humans more often than not. She does ok in the crate but would prefer not to be left all day. She sleeps well in the crate overnight if she has proximity to her humans. She loves toys and bones and burrowing into blankets. She is very athletic, but doesn't need a lot of running around every day. Angel does great on the leash, loves to explore new places, and is house trained. The fee to adopt Angel is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
