Description
Dog Breed: Rat Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Born around March 27, 2017, this 15-pound "cool dude" joined us after being found as a stray. Despite his unknown past, Alfie is the definition of laid-back. He’s a professional observer who loves nothing more than claiming a comfy spot on the couch to watch the world go by. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he prefers a "co-existing" relationship over a high-energy play session. Alfie is a perfect gentleman on the go, too—he rides beautifully in the car and walks nicely on a leash. Because Alfie can be a little shy about being picked up and tends to scurry away, he’d likely do best in a home without very small children who might try to carry him. He’s looking for a forever home where he can simply be your best friend. Alfie came to us in need of a dental cleaning which was completed by our local vet. Please be aware that smaller dogs tend to struggle with dental health throught their lives and you will likely have more dental bills in your future. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $400.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
