Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Chrissy is one of those rare dogs who just quietly makes your life better. Sheâs incredibly sweet, calm, and easygoing, the kind of companion whoâs happiest simply being near you. Whether youâre relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, sheâs content to be by your side. She has excellent house manners, fully house trained, not a chewer, and she doesnât bark or whine or create any chaos. Honestly, sheâs about as low maintenance as it gets. She settles in easily and brings a really peaceful presence to the home. On walks, sheâs gentle on the leash and enjoys getting outside without pulling or being reactive. She also does well with other dogs after a proper introduction and seems to appreciate having a calm canine companion. Chrissy is an easy, lovely dog to have around - relaxed, affectionate, and simply a joy to be with. Sheâd be a great fit for a loving home.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
