This sweet boy truly loves everyone he meets and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. He’s also good with kids, though younger children should be supervised—especially while Sanders is resting, as he prefers not to be disturbed when he’s asleep and may give a short warning growl to let you know he needs his space. Sanders rides great in the car and seems to be house trained, making him an easy companion to bring along on adventures or errands. At home, he’s a calm and affectionate pup who loves being close to his people—he even sleeps peacefully in his foster’s bed and settles in quietly for the night. He is still working on his leash skills, but Sanders is eager to learn and would thrive with a little guidance and consistency. With his loving nature and willingness to please, he’ll make a wonderful companion for someone ready to help him continue learning and growing. Sanders is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to .secondchancedogrescue and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Golden Labrador, a delightful hybrid often referred to as a Goldador, is a popular cross between the Golden Retriever and the Labrador Retriever. Originating from designer breeding programs, these intelligent dogs inherit the best traits from both beloved parent breeds. Physically, they are medium to large-sized with a muscular build, typically sporting a dense, water-repellent coat in shades of gold, yellow, or cream. Their temperament is exceptionally friendly, loyal, and eager to please, making them outstanding family pets that get along well with children and other animals. While adaptable, their energy levels necessitate regular exercise, making a house with a yard preferable over strict apartment living. Though generally healthy, potential health considerations include hip and elbow dysplasia, common in both parent breeds, and certain eye conditions. Overall, the Golden Labrador offers a wonderful blend of intelligence, affection, and trainability, making them a fantastic companion for active families.
