Dog Breed: Beagle / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 350. Adorable mixed breed girl MILLY is a little sweetheart. She appears to be a beagle dachshund mix, probably with a touch of chihuahua in the mix. She has a long thin nose and body like a dachshund but longer legs like a beagle. She has an unruly left ear that makes us suspect she has a little chihuahua in the mix as well. She's around 1 year old and fully grown at just 23 pounds. Milly is a friendly girl, a bit on the timid side. She loves other dogs and needs a home with another friendly dog and a physically-fenced yard. The best way to make friends with Milly is to bring a few treats. She has a beagle appetite. If you'd like to meet little Milly, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Milly at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
