Description
Dog Breed: American Eskimo Dog / Pomeranian / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: 450.. Romie here! Romie is a 2-year-old American Eskimo Mix who is looking for her Forever Home! Romie is quite a lap dog, happiest curled up close, soaking in the belly rubs and affection. She will follow you around in everything that you do. The ultimate bestie! Romie is perfectly housebroken and loves spending time exploring the backyard, taking in the sunshine and fresh air. She is good on a leash and loves to go for a ride in the car! Romie a very well behaved little girl, so she is able to enjoy run of the house when her foster family is away. She just hangs out napping, playing with toys, maybe have a snack and wander about until she hears her people arrive home. At which time she will rush to greet you when you walk in the door. Romie loves cats and can get along with other dogs with proper introductions. Still, she wouldn’t mind being an “only child” and the center of your universe. Her love and affection will make your life comeplete! She has already experienced the heartbreak of losing the only home and family that she’s ever known. What we are hoping for now is a soft place for her to land and a family who will love her endlessly for the rest of my life. If you have room in your heart and home for a beautiful, compact, loyal soul that will love you without condition, Romie is the girl for you! Run to complete an adoption application and ask to meet Romie before someone else beats you to it. She cannot wait to meet you and Love You for the rest of her life!!! If you are interested in adopting/meeting Romie, please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: .starfishanimalrescue/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! Breed overview
Overview:
The Pomimo is a designer breed that combines the American Eskimo Dog and Pomeranian, originating in North America as a cheerful, compact companion. With a dense double coat, erect ears, and a fox-like expression, they typically weigh 10–17 pounds and stand 9–15 inches tall. Their temperament is bright, playful, and affectionate, making them excellent for families, singles, and seniors. Pomimos adapt well to apartment living when provided daily exercise, interactive play, and mental stimulation, though they may be vocal and benefit from early training and socialization. Grooming needs are moderate to high due to their thick coat, requiring regular brushing. Common health considerations include dental care, potential patellar luxation, and allergies; routine vet visits, weight management, and consistent grooming support long-term well-being. Overall, the Pomimo is a lively, loving companion with a friendly, alert personality.
