Dog Breed: Great Dane. LOCATION: San Antonio, TX DOB:01/01/2024 Athena is a beautiful blue merle Great Dane who was surrendered due to her family’s financial difficulties. This gentle giant is crate trained, potty trained, and has a big heart full of love to give. Athena is a true Velcro Dane, always wanting to be close to her people. She’s an expert snuggler and can be the big or little spoon, depending on your preference. Athena loves food and treats, which makes her eager to learn and train. She’s currently learning her basic obedience and is proving to be super smart. Although she’s not very interested in toys, she loves to play chase and wrestle with other dogs. Athena does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Despite her size, Athena doesn’t quite realize how big she is, which adds to her charming and slightly goofy personality. She can be a little drooly, but that’s just part of her charm. Athena loves people and is always ready to make new friends. Athena is looking for a forever home where she can continue to learn and grow. She would thrive in a home with other dogs to play with and humans who can give her the love and attention she craves.
