We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter foster home - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Nyra is Looking For: Nyra is a sato, a dog from Puerto Rico. She raised her baby Nahla well, and Nahla went off to get her own home. Now Nyra - who didn't get to see enough of the world in her previous situation - is ready to get her own humans. For sniffy walks, to see more of the world. And to love and be loved by.
