Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff / Mixed. Meet Bambi Bambi is a gentle, tender-hearted girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate nature really shines through. She absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to her people—it’s where she feels most at peace. Bambi would do best in a calm, quiet home with another confident, easygoing dog to help guide her and build her confidence. She thrives with soft energy and patience, and in the right environment, she will truly blossom. Because of her sensitive nature, a home with older, respectful kids would be best, as toddlers may be a bit overwhelming for her. Her mom is a Cane Corso, dad unknown, and this little girl has already beaten the odds and proven just how strong and resilient she is. Now she’s ready for the next chapter—a loving forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a soft, soulful companion to share your heart and home with, Bambi is your girl. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
