Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed. If you’re looking for a soft, gentle, go-with-the-flow kind of puppy… Bingley might be your guy. At 4 months old, Bingley is a sweet, submissive boy who would much rather roll over for belly rubs than cause any trouble. He’s incredibly gentle, loves attention, and will happily stick close to his people (or his dog friends) for reassurance. He’s currently in local foster care and working on all the puppy basics: • making great progress with potty training (just not quite there yet!) • crate trained, just needs a little encouragement going in and out • learning leash skills and building confidence with new things Bingley can be a little unsure during transitions, new environments, leash time, getting in the car, but once he settles in, he’s calm, affectionate, and content to just be near you. He’s great with other dogs and tends to be very submissive, he would likely thrive with a calm, confident dog in the home to show him the ropes. He’s also been around kids and does best in a quieter environment where things aren’t too overwhelming. This isn’t your high-energy, go-go-go puppy. Bingley is more of a couch companion in the making, happiest with cuddles, chew toys, and his people nearby. And fair warning… he has the softest fur ever and knows exactly how to use that to his advantage. Don’t let this sweet boy grow up in foster care. He’s ready to find his person. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: .sandypawsrescue. PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this. • All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date. • Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: .sandypawsrescue. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.
