Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Pointer / Mixed. This handsome boy has a calm, dainty nature that makes him such a special companion. Hank is a total cuddle bug who loves affection and being close to his people. He has a soft, easygoing personality and is happiest lounging around rather than engaging in rough and rowdy play. If you’re looking for a calm companion who enjoys quiet moments and cozy snuggles, Hank is your guy. He does wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and tends to be submissive and respectful. Hank would love a home with another dog or two where he can feel comfortable and have friends to relax with. He truly enjoys the company of other dogs and fits in easily. Hank is food motivated and already knows how to sit, making him eager to learn and bond with his future family. He walks nicely on leash and seems to be potty trained, making him an easy addition to a home. This sweet boy is ready to kiss shelter life goodbye and find a loving home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be spoiled with all the cuddles he deserves. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
