Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Freedom ride alert for #MADloveTala! Tala avoided shelter life thanks to an amazing MAD volunteer and has safely made her way to her foster home in Washington! This young, spayed girl is a beautiful mix of GSD and Mal (per her DNA test) and already showing what a special companion she’ll be. She loves her humans, is housebroken, good with other dogs, and currently working on her crate training. Tala just needs a little time to decompress — going from surviving on the streets to living in a home is a big adjustment. But with structure, patience, and love, she’s going to absolutely thrive. She enjoys walks, takes treats gently, loves a good game of fetch, and will happily roll over for tummy scratches. ‍She does have a strong interest in birds (she’s caught a few sparrows!), so that’s something to keep in mind. Tala is also working through some separation anxiety, as she truly just wants to be close to her person. Stay tuned for more updates on this wonderful girl — her journey is just beginning! .
