Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Meet Briggs Briggs is a 2-year-old, 28 lb Jack Russell Terrier mix with a stunning red coat that absolutely shines in the sun. If you love a redhead, he’s your guy! This sweet, lovable boy enjoys the simple things in life, especially walks! He does great on a leash and loves being outside. Briggs is house-trained with no accidents and will quietly whimper to let you know when he needs to go out. He sleeps through the night in his crate (especially with a little treat encouragement) and wakes up ready to show you just how happy he is to be by your side. Briggs has a gentle, easygoing personality. He’s not toy or food aggressive, loves to play, and is a big fan of his treat puzzles. Don’t let his short legs fool you, he’s quick, playful, and always up for some fun (especially if a squeaky toy is involved!). His foster describes him as incredibly affectionate, he loves to snuggle and stay close to his people. He already knows commands like “sit,” “beg,” and “come,” and walks nicely without pulling on the leash. While he hasn’t been fully tested with cats and other dogs yet, his foster believes he will do very well. Briggs is a happy, loving little guy with so much love to give.
