Description
Dog Breed: Corgi / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Hi! My name is Cosmoe, and my personality is just as big as my name! I’m 25% derpy, 75% goofy, and 100% good boy. I love everyone—people, dogs, cats, and kids! Sometimes I get so excited to share the love that I need a gentle reminder to slow down instead of falling straight into puppy love. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy who will keep you laughing, I might be the perfect match for you! My foster mom thinks I’m part corgi (because my mom was), but I’m aiming to be a big boy—I could grow up to 45 lbs! I’m about 4 months old right now, so I’m still a little guy learning big things. Potty training can be tricky, but I’m making great progress. I’m a pro at going into my crate, and I’m already learning skills like sitting and walking on a leash! My foster mom says I’m very smart and will thrive with someone who’s excited to keep teaching me and helping me grow. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
