Description
Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Hi friends! We are the restaurant puppies - Olive Garden is the sweet female brindle baby and Noodles and Company is the cuddliest tan male. We are listed as cattle dog mixes, and they're just tiny little things. We are 3 months old and right now we're about 12 pounds but full-grown well be about 30 pounds. We are super snuggly and super playful. We do great with other dogs and even kitties! Because we're still babies and in the chewing phase, we might be better with older kiddos. We are kennel trained and are working hard on potty training and walking on a leash. Noodles would rather be held and cuddled than play and loves to sleep curled up next to you. Olive is adventurous and polite and easy-going. If you think one of us might be a great fit for you, apply to meet us at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
