Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Est DOB 3/01/23 Current weight ~ 13 lbs This dog is heartworm positive but please do not rule him/her out because of it. There's a treatment that is not as hard on the dog as the one you may have heard of and it's FREE. Meet Findley, two year old 15lb Chihuahua/Labrador cross. He is a high energy pocket rocket. A lotta Labrador squeezed into a small body! Findley's personality is playful, gentle, loving and social. His go-to activities include: saying hello to every single person he meets, playing with all his toys at the same time, checking pee-mail three times a day, taking power naps in between his busy social activities and generally being the goofiest, cutest dog imaginable. Findley makes a great family dog or will act as wing-dog for the single person looking to make friends. He is loving yet independent. He adores head scritches and belly rubs but doesn't have to be in your lap all the time. Close proximity is just fine by him. Findley does well in the company of dogs and greets every human he meets. He is kennel trained and housebroken but can have small accidents when overly scared or excited. A unique trait of Findley is he loves to 'taste' his humans by licking them like an ice cream cone. If there is skin available, he's licking it - feet, legs, hands, bald heads. If you like tongue baths, this dog is for you! $350 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care.
