Description
Dog Breed: Boxer / Siberian Husky. Meet Hannah Hannah is the sweetest little 3-month-old boxer mix with the cutest cuddly personality. She absolutely loves people, adores other dogs, and may already be an expert-level napper. Today, however, Hannah chose to put aside her busy lounging schedule to selflessly help outside with yard work. She bravely protected the yard from the dangerous garden hose (by repeatedly attacking it), helped fetch gardening gloves (and redistribute them around the yard), and afterward made sure to wake up her dog brother because apparently nap time is for losers. This silly, loving little girl is full of personality and charm and keeps everyone laughing wherever she goes. ❤️ APPLY AT PROJECTHOPEARF.ORG

Breed overview
Boxer
A.K.A.: Deutscher Boxer, German Boxer, Dutch Boxer, Boxer dog, Boxy, Boxerman
Overview:
The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired dog breed of German origin, known for its distinctive appearance and vibrant personality. Physically, Boxers possess a strong, athletic build with a characteristic square head, an undershot jaw, and often a docked tail and cropped ears (though these practices are becoming less common). Their short, glossy coat typically comes in fawn or brindle, often with white markings. Temperamentally, Boxers are renowned for being incredibly loyal, intelligent, and energetic, making them fantastic companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and can be playful and patient with children, making them excellent family pets. While their energy levels require regular exercise, their adaptability means they can adjust to apartment living if their activity needs are consistently met. However, potential owners should be aware of certain health considerations, including a predisposition to some cancers, heart conditions like cardiomyopathy, and hip dysplasia, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups.
