We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Violeta is Looking For: Her forever home! Violeta landed in the shelter in Puerto Rico through no fault of her own is now coming to the DC area to get her new humans. She's eager to explore it with her new family. Sniffy walks and romps in parks and cuddles - that's high on her list, along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.
