We received an urgent call for help after he was heartbreakingly thrown from a moving car and abandoned by the very people who were supposed to care for him. Despite everything he’s been through, Peanut Butter still has so much love left to give. He’s shy and timid at first, but behind those cautious eyes is a sweet soul just waiting to feel safe and loved. Peanut Butter will need a patient and understanding home—one with a friendly dog companion to help show him the ropes and teach him how to just be a dog again. With time, kindness, and consistency, he will absolutely blossom. He’s looking for that special person or family willing to give him a chance… and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of love (and then some).

Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
