Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Hi there, future best friend! My name is Archer, and Iâm a handsome, 1-year-old black Lab with a heart thatâs just waiting to shine. I found my way to the shelter as a stray, so Iâm still figuring out this big, busy worldâbut I promise Iâm trying my best every single day. At first, I can be a little shyâespecially around menâso I need someone patient who will take things slow and let me build trust at my own pace. But once I feel safe? Oh boy⦠get ready for tail wags, cuddles, and lots of love. Iâm a total sweetheart underneath my cautious exterior! Iâve done pretty well in playgroups here, so I might enjoy a canine siblingâbut weâll need to meet first to make sure weâre a good match. As for my future home, Iâd do best with someone who has dog experience (no first-time owners, please!) and understands that Iâm still learning. Ohâand one more thing: Iâll need a sturdy, indestructible crate to help me feel secure when Iâm settling in. Think of it as my cozy little den! If youâre the kind of person who believes the best relationships are built on patience, kindness, and a whole lot of love⦠I just might be your guy. Come meet me and letâs start our story together. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. Your dogâs adoption fee includes: - Current age-appropriate CORE Vaccines (Rabies/DHPP/Bordetella) - Heartworm Tested - Current on NexGard PLUS Monthly Preventative Chew (Flea/Tick/Heartworm Preventative & Dewormer) - Spaying or Neutering - 24-Petwatch Microchip Adoption fee: $135.00 Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2026 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $11.30. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$9.30) Leash and collar included
