Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat). This beautiful boy was a well-known stray in the area for many months. He was (and still is) skittish and leery of humans, but he's starting to warm up to the idea and is getting more confident every day! He'll need a patient family to help him learn how to be comfortable. A fenced-in yard or constant leash/tie out is absolutely mandatory for this wandering escape artist! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
