Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Great Dane / Mixed (short coat). AVAILABLE SOON! I haven’t arrived at the adoption center just yet - I’m getting ready for adoption! Please fill out an adoption application if you’d like to meet me once I’m available. Born: December 30, 2025 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $650 My litter includes: Dane and Drake All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! The Great Pyredane is a striking hybrid breed, resulting from the cross between the majestic Great Dane and the gentle Great Pyrenees. Originating from designer breed initiatives, it combines the best traits of its colossal parents. Physically, Great Pyredanes are undeniably large, typically boasting a sturdy, muscular build and often inheriting the Great Pyrenees' thick, weather-resistant double coat, though variations in color and coat density are common. Temperamentally, they are generally described as calm, affectionate, and loyal, making them wonderful companions. While they possess a protective instinct due to their guardian lineage, they are usually good with children and other pets when properly socialized. Their sheer size means they are not suited for apartment living and require a home with a spacious, securely fenced yard. Potential owners should be aware of health concerns common to large breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, bloat, and certain heart conditions, necessitating regular veterinary check-ups and a high-quality diet.
