Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. NAME: Cha Cha Charro STATS: Female, terrier mix, 8ish, 9 lbs. TEMPERAMENT: Friendly. Shy at first and warms up. Playful, but not overly so. SKILLS Doing great with potty training. Crate trained. Good with dogs. Good with cats. Has not been exposed to children. MORE ABOUT ME: Likes belly rubs. Couch cuddler. Likes walks. Likes playing with other dogs. Submissive. ONE LAST THING: Cha Cha came from horder horse. She is very shy but very very sweet. She will use potty pads but has learned to go potty outside. She just started using a dog door. She just needs exposure and confidence. Super sweet girl. Daily walks will help her build confidence. Exposure to the outside world will help her build her confidence. She is a little confused as I don't think she had ever been given any direction. She is a quick learner and very smart.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
