Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Husky / Mixed. Ox is a busy dogs that enjoys heavy chewers. The only toy he hasn’t been able to destroy is a tire stick and he will carry it around with him. He knows several commands and has been thru training. He needs a fenced in yard and someone that can meet his exercise requirements. Toys, kids, other dogs, he loves them all! He loves the outdoors and will lay outside in the sun for hours. Ox is fully potty trained but also loves his “bucket” (crate). He was born in the woods and his small pack really appreciated dens. I think that is where he gets his love for the bucket. I keep a blanket over it, he likes it a little dark. He is a messy drinker though. He seems to forget to swallow his last lap so he leaves a trail from his bowl! The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $250. If the puppy is too young or small to be fixed there will be a $75 spay/neuter rebate form provided. They currently have at least 1 puppy shot,, flea preventative, heartworm preventative and are microchipped with lifetime registration ($13). If you have serious interest in this puppy, please fill out an application (don't call, email or text before filling out an app or you will have a greater chance of missing out on this puppy). Breed overview
Overview:
The Labsky, a charming crossbreed of the Labrador Retriever and the Siberian Husky, originated from the desire to combine the best traits of its beloved parent breeds. Physically, they are medium to large dogs, often exhibiting a fascinating blend of features; expect a robust build, varying coat colors and textures (from sleek black to fluffy merle), and captivating eye colors, sometimes even heterochromia. Temperamentally, Labskies are known for being intelligent, energetic, and loyal. They thrive on human companionship and require significant mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom, making them best suited for active families or individuals with a large, securely fenced yard. Due to their energy levels and potential for vocalization, they are generally not ideal for apartment living. While typically healthy, they can inherit predispositions to conditions seen in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain skin allergies, so responsible breeding and regular vet check-ups are crucial.
