At just 4.5 months old and 19 pounds, Millie has already beaten the odds. She was found starving on the streets of South Texas, but you’d never guess it now—she’s thriving, full of life, and ready for a fresh start. Millie is everything you want in a young dog: ✔️ Sweet and affectionate ✔️ Playful and energetic ✔️ Smart and eager to learn She’s already making great progress with basic commands and housebreaking, and she’ll continue to excel with consistency and structure. Millie does have a unique feature—her tail healed from an old break and now has a slight L-shaped curve at the tip. It doesn’t slow her down one bit and just adds to her character. Because of her energy and intelligence, Millie will do best in an active home that can keep her physically and mentally engaged. She’s not a couch potato—she’s a dog that wants to do things with her people. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $200. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
