Description
Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). This little spotted goofball is 3 months old and already working overtime in the “steal hearts and cause tiny amounts of chaos” department. With her snowy white coat splashed in black and brown spots, with striking blue eyes she looks like someone let a toddler decorate a puppy with paint splatters and somehow nailed it. She can be a little skittish when meeting new people or exploring new places, but give her a little time and she transforms into a full-blown spitfire. Once she settles in, her personality comes flying out: playful, sassy, curious, and always ready to bounce into the next adventure. We suspect there may be some Aussie mix in there because this girl is smart, busy, and definitely keeps life interesting. She’s looking for a home that will help her build confidence, continue her puppy training, and appreciate her perfect mix of sweetness and sass. Equal parts cuddlebug and tiny tornado, this girl is going to make someone very lucky laugh every single day. Apply today and visit her at Sunday's adoption event!

Breed overview
Overview:
The Aussiedor is a hybrid of the Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever, emerging as a modern companion in North America’s designer-dog movement. Medium to large in size, they typically weigh 40–80 pounds with an athletic build and a double coat that can be short to medium-length, shedding seasonally. Their temperament blends the Lab’s friendliness with the Aussie’s alert intelligence: highly trainable, eager to please, and very energetic. Aussiedors thrive with active families, enjoying hikes, runs, and interactive play, but they are less suited to apartment living unless given ample daily exercise and mental stimulation. Regular grooming helps manage shedding. Notable health considerations include hip dysplasia, eye conditions, and weight management, with a typical lifespan of 10–13 years. Consistent training, enrichment, and preventive veterinary care keep this versatile cross at its best.
