Dog Breed: Boston Terrier. Meet JoJo ~ A 5 year old loving Boston Terrier looking for a forever home. JoJo loves to be with her people. She's quiet, snuggly and loves to spend time on the couch watching TV with her human. She's a Velcro dog, so you'll never have to pee alone ;) She is a bit over 20lbs. Jojo is quiet and already potty trained and does well on leash. She does well with cats but doesn't always get along with other dogs as they scare her, therefore the ideal placement will be where she'll be an only dog. The Boston Terrier, affectionately known as the "American Gentleman," originated in the late 19th century in Boston, Massachusetts, making it one of the few breeds developed in the U.S. Physically, they are compact and muscular, typically weighing between 12 and 25 pounds, with a distinctive "tuxedo" coat pattern—black or brindle with white markings on the muzzle, chest, and often a blaze between the eyes. Regarding health, they are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed, so care must be taken in hot weather to prevent overheating, and they can be prone to eye conditions and patellar luxation.
