Dog Breed: Border Collie / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Meet adoptable BENTLEY!! Bentley is a 4 month old border collie mix and is currently in a foster home quickly learning how to be part of a family. Bentley is one of a litter of 6 puppies raised at CompAnimals shelter. Four of Bentleys siblings have been adopted and are doing well in their new homes! Now it’s Bentley‘s turn! Bentley has learned so much during his 3 weeks at his foster home! When he arrived everything was new and scary to him. He is now a confident boy and is crate trained (voluntarily goes in his crate for bedtime or naps with no messes), walks nicely on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, stay, no barking, no jumping), is great with kids, people and other dogs. He also loves to hike and is learning to fetch a ball. Bentley is housebroken and will stand by the door to go out. Overall Bentley is a friendly and easy going puppy who loves to play and snuggle. A great family Dog! We do ask that Adopters of puppies under 12 months of age attend a positive reinforcement basic obedience class. Apply at panimals. Adoption $350 includes age-appropriate neuter at our vet partner (Or $100 back if you prefer using your own Vet). We recommend neuter at 12 months.
