Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff / Mixed. ✨ Meet Ariel ✨ Ariel is one of our adorable “Disney litter” pups, and she’s as sweet as they come Mom is a Cane Corso, dad unknown—but whatever her mix is, it made one incredibly lovable little girl. This cuddle bug is all about love, playtime, and being close to her people. She would thrive in a home with another dog to help guide her and keep her company. Kids are a bonus—Ariel is gentle, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend. Her story started with strength—her mama was rescued from a California shelter while on the euthanasia list, extremely underweight, and gave birth shortly after rescue. She had 15 puppies, and while sadly 5 didn’t make it, Ariel is one of the lucky ones now looking for her forever home If you’re ready for puppy love, snuggles, and a loyal companion, Ariel is your girl. Apply to adopt and come meet Ariel today! Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
