Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Cartina&rsquo;s story started in a way no dog deserves&mdash;found tied up outside of a grocery store in Newark and left behind. But despite that, she has nothing but love to give. We named her Cartina because &ldquo;Cart&rdquo; (in honor of where she was found) felt a little too manly for this tiny girl. She&rsquo;s about 2 years old, 15 lbs, and we&rsquo;re guessing a Jack Russell mix. Cartina is the SWEETEST little lap dog&mdash;full of life and energy, but just as happy to curl up and cuddle with her people. She&rsquo;s great with other dogs and has done well with cats. She&rsquo;s working on house and crate training and is a smart girl who&rsquo;s catching on quickly. Cartina is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines.
