Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Flounder is a gentle sensitive puppy with a soft thoughtful nature. He can be a bit reserved at first but once he feels safe he enjoys quiet affection leans in for comfort and shows a calm steady attachment to people he trusts. Medically Flounder arrived very ill with signs concerning for a serious inflammatory condition affecting his nervous system. He has responded well to treatment and is currently stable on medication but it is still unknown whether this will fully resolve or require ongoing veterinary management. Through all of this his temperament has remained sweet and tolerant. He accepts handling takes things at his own pace and shows small but meaningful steps toward connection as he builds confidence. Flounder will need a big hearted committed adopter who can provide patience consistency and medical follow through and who is ready to give a vulnerable pup the chance to grow into a deeply bonded companion.
