Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Arwen Arwen is a rambunctious, playful puppy who is about 7–8 months old and full of personality. She is very dog friendly and would love a home with another dog, as she really enjoys having a four-legged buddy by her side. Like many puppies her age, Arwen is still learning her manners. She can get excited and jump up on people, so she would likely do best with older kids while she continues working on that. She is a sweet girl who loves cuddles, attention, and being close to her people. At times she can be a little shy, but with love and patience her fun, affectionate side shines through. Arwen is looking for a family that will appreciate her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the companionship she thrives on. If you are looking for a fun-loving puppy with lots of love to give, Arwen may be your perfect match. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
